A gush of instalments from Simon!

I had so many pages from Simon, Sue Marsdon, who was advising me while I hung the show, encouraged me to find an alcove for Simon!
… a few more arrived yesterday, but I haven't had a chance to scan them!

Keith Chambers' memory of Cabrillo

Simon Warren instalment 116 and an 18 page book

Simon takes me through the history of post World War Britain to the present.  He is reflecting the sentiments of many who did not benefit in a 'divided' society. Simon has been my most constant corespondent. He remembers so much. 'I Simon Warren possess a memory, yes a fleeting memory of a world expiring of the world of The Depression which drove workers fromt he Industrial North to the small town in which I grew up…'

I appreciate Simon's account especially as I can see him making his way through history, ' I pedal my bicycle the lives of these people without my ever stopping to consider come back to me the fact of their having existed has left behind a residue…'

I think I will scan Simon's book at a later date. All of Simon's mail art (along with all the other memories are made of this mail art will be on display at Hadleigh Library, in Suffolk the last weekend in November.
